HP LaserJet 4610
The HP LaserJet 4610 is a toner based printer for use in a home or office environment. The dimensions for this printer are 18 inches wide, 18.9 inches deep and 22.3 inches high. The total weight of the unit is 81 pounds. This printer is compatible with the Windows operating system and the Apple Mac OS.
Connecting the machine to your computer is done by a parallel port, a USB cable or using a fast Ethernet print server. A connection can also be done by using a Bluetooth wireless printer adapter. The printer has a 533 MHz processor with 160 MB of memory. There is no internal hard disk and no option for expanding available memory. Printing from a mobile phone or a PDA is provided when the wireless printer adapter is installed for the device.
Print quality for black and color projects is up to 600 x 600 DPI and uses HP ImageRet 3600 resolution technology. The speed for black color prints and color prints is 22 pages per minute. When the unit has been powered up during a cold start, there is a 138 second delay before printing. The standard delay for a print project when it is sent from the computer is 15 seconds.
Media used with this printer include envelopes and plain paper. There are two paper trays that will hold up to 600 sheets of paper or 20 envelopes. The output capacity of the printer is 250 sheets. A driver can be used that supports the printing on both sides of paper. This device has a 100-sheet multipurpose tray and a 500 sheet paper tray.
Ink cartridges used with this printer include cyan, yellow, magenta and black. The average yield for the black ink cartridge is 10,000 pages. Replacement cartridges are available directly from HP.
